One of a kind means just that.  I can’t make another one.  These are really special pieces that come from somewhere outside of me.  The focal bead may inspire me as in the piece entitled “Sand Hills”.  One of the necklaces that I have kept in my own collection was inspired by a bird.  This bird is called the “Jewel of the Serengeti” and its feathers are the most gorgeous colors.  A friend gave me a card with a picture of this bird and instantly I saw in my mind’s eye the layout for an unusual necklace. Each necklace has its own story.  One never knows from where inspiration will come.
